giveaway!

Hi there...hope your week is going great!   I've been busy cleaning out my craft room and have cleared out a HUGE box of stamps and supplies I need to get rid of.  Most of them are lightly used, but some are brand new.  What do you do with stamps you no longer want/need?  I'd love to hear, because I have no idea what I am going to do with them.

So while I was cleaning, I came across a duplicate of a new Hero Arts Christmas clear stamp set and thought I would give it away to one of my sweet blog readers...along with a Hero Arts Holiday 2011 catalog! So just leave me a comment on this blog post by midnight CST Sunday, September 25th to be entered to win.

If you want to see these stamps in action, here are a couple of mini cards I created for Hero Arts using this stamp set.

Well, I guess it's time to get back to cleaning/organizing before the kids wake up from their naps.  I love finding the perfect way to organize my supplies almost as much as I like using them.  Containers, baskets and labels make me a happy girl. ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Kelly! You're very lucky to enjoy the organizing process so much. I think that's got to be more than half the battle. :-) Those HA Christmas stamps are darling, of course. I would be thrilled to add those to my card-making and scrapping this holiday season. Thanks for the giveaway!

I love the Hero Arts stamps you are giving away! And I envy your love of organizing... I only do it because I have to!

I usually give my stamps away that I don't use. Thanks for the chance to win! (Too cute!).

I'm afraid I need to go through my stamps as well. There are some I just don't need anymore. I have no idea how to
list them on line to sell. I also have some duplicate tools.
This is a sickness I tell ya! LOL!

I have given lots of craft items to my children's teachers and/or day care. I love seeing them 'come back' - bits of yarn in a project, stampers on school pages, etc.

Those Christmas Hero Arts stamps are so cute!
Thanks for the chance to win.
My niece also makes cards, so we share stamps with each other.

Such a sweet giveaway. This set is so sweet. I recently sell most of my `not HA` stamps and purchased some more HA sets.

Love those stamps! They would be the perfect thing for my Christmas cards this year!

i have had good luck selling my stamps at a garage sale - practically give them away but that's ok. i've seen people selling stamps on their blogs and also on their flickr page. nice giveaway - would love to win.

I normally give the stamps I dont use anymore to a couple of friends that scrap. Where we live it is a bit difficult to get supplies, so as I buy it online, I always share with them! Thanks for the chance to win!!

That's a cute set!
I have donated stamps and paper to the Girl Guides before - they love it! And quite a few have been set aside for my kids' craft classes and just plain giveaways. I don't think people mind getting used stamps - it's not like Kleenex!

i sell things on my blog sometimes, but i tend to keep a good bit of my stuff for my kids to get creative with

I'm still pretty new to stamping, so I have not had the problem of unused stamps. Thanks so much for the chance to win that cute set! :D

I've been doing the same thing this week! In the past when I've had supplies or stamps to get rid of, I'd either sell them or give them away to some scrappy friends. My daughter started middle school this year and they have a scrapbooking club (yay!) so now I have a new place to send in my goodies to!

Good for you Kelly, for organizing and getting rid
of stuff you no longer use. I am also in the process of sorting. I like the organizing part but am not as good at parting with stamps. I gave
some to a work colleague and plan to sell some on Etsy.

I haven't decided what to do about mine. Keep thinking I will use them, so maybe I'm not ready to pass along. Thanks for the giveaway!

This is a really cute stamp set! Thanks for the chance to win!!! As for stamps/supplies you no longer want or need, you could give them away as blog candy, sell them on ebay/etsy/garage sale, or donate them to a local charity or school.

Love this stamp set - it would be a great addition to my newly organised box of christmas stamps (which was actually not as extensive as I had hoped/feared ;o)).

As for the "unwanted" stamps, how about setting up a swop-site; I bet you must have some that you want that others might not want any more etc.? Or perhaps you could set up a system like bookcrossing.com where you pass on stamps and people then let you know where they are in the world :o)

Super cute set of stamps! I like going through my stuff almost as much as I like to create as well. Nothing more inspiring as a clean/organized space!

I can't usually bear to part with any of my stamps. Some times I take them in to school with me and leave them in the art center. But that's not happened much.

thanks so much for spreading the love with this giveaway! As for gently used stamps, i sometimes donate them. I know people sell them on the internet either on their blog or through another outlet (ebay, splitcoast, etc). I am doing a RAK giveaway organized by joy taylor and passing some stamps i never used along that way....

Hi Kelly! I am doing the same exact thing. I have been taking pictures as I go along. 2 Peas has a for sale or trade board where I think I may list some of my stuff and I am going to give Ebay a try. I have tried Craigslist in the past but you never get a good price. A cyber friend told me the stuff sells really well on Ebay.

Good luck with whatever avenue you choose. Please be sure to tell us in case we want some of those goodies! ;)

A LSS sponsors a HUGE stamp sale every spring where we can purchase a table and sell any unwanted stamps and accessories. Great way to get some extra cash for new stamps!

Thanks for the chance to win this sweet set and the catalog, too!
